Lagos State Governor, Babtunde Raji fashola has said the PDP’s Governorship candidate in the state, Jimi Agbaje is a tax evader. Fashola disclosed this while speaking at the 8th Annual Stakeholder Taxation Conference in Ikeja on Wednesday. Davido has expressed his intention to vote in the forthcoming elections and have also said he is good enough to be Nigeria’s president one day. The Skelewu crooner made this known in a chat with MTV Base Choose or Lose Vox Pop.  ‘Yes! I’m voting, I want my voice to be heard, there’s no point in complaining if you are not going to vote,’ he said about voting. POLITICS/MEDIA: Buhari to Sue AIT, NTA over Hate Broadcasts

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), has vowed to take legal action against the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) except they apologise over the hate broadcast against him. He has also asked the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) and National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), to investigate the NTA and African Independent Television (AIT), hate broadcasts and take necessary punitive actions.Buhari lodged the protest through the Director, Legal APC Presidential Campaign Council, Chukwuma-Machukwu Ume (SAN).

POLITICS: APC lawmakers destroy Goodluck Jonathan’s posters in Osun State

The politics of intolerance that has been the centre piece of electioneering campaign in Osun State in recent times continued over the weekend, as the members of the Osun State House of Assembly, representing Ilesha West and Ilesha East have been accused of leading political thugs to destroy President Goodluck Jonathan’s reelection posters in parts of the Iffe/Ijesha senatorial district. The members, Timothy Owoeye and Fafowora were accused of leading thugs to Isokun, Ilesha shortly after a Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, campaign rally in the community to destroy the posters.
