survivor. He said his appointment as a board member of the African Cancer
Centre made him undergo a routine checkup last year which revealed he had

CURRENT AFFAIRS: Time magazine refers to abducted Chibok girls as "Boko Haram girls"
Time magazine was created in 1923 by Briton Hadden and Henry Luce,
making it the first weekly news magazine in the United States. Time
's most famous feature throughout its history has been the annual
"Person of the Year" (formerly "Man of the Year") cover story, in which
Time recognizes the individual or group of individuals who have had the
biggest impact on news headlines over the past 12 months. The
distinction is supposed to go to the person who, for good or ill, has
most affected the course of the year; it is therefore not necessarily
CURRENT AFFAIRS: Nigerian Airports Rated Among The Worst In Africa
THREE Nigerian airports have been rated among the worst in Africa.
While Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, is voted the 10th
worst in Africa, the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, and
Port Harcourt International Airport, Port Harcourt were ranked the
seventh and the sixth worst airports on the continent. This was
contained in a survey conducted by The Guide To Sleeping in Airports,
the website that documents information on airports and the people who
sleep in them.
