In fact, the other rooms got burnt, but when it got in front of his bedroom suite it stopped, meaning the house was saved from burning further. According to Tee Mac, I was in Abuja when the fire occurred, the fire burnt other rooms but stopped at the front of my bedroom suite where TB Joshua’s sticker was. Rev. Teddy Parker, a Macon, Georgia pastor killed himself a few days after telling his congregation at his church that God was not hearing him and no longer felt a connection to God.
"I try to pray but I don’t feel like God is hearing me,” Parker said to his congregation “I try to serve but I don’t feel like God is using me. And there are times in your life when God purposely withdraws from you, he doesn’t withdraw for the sake of leaving you but he withdraws so you can grow and mature.”
Rev. Parker, a father of two, shot himself in the head with his own gun following Sunday service at Bible Mount Zion Baptist Church while his family and congregation were still at his church waiting for him for the next service..
A 56-year-old father, Mr Ayodele Adetoyinbo was killed on Wednesday by his 18-year-old son, Olalekan Adetoyinbo, who resides in the Irojo neighbourhood of Ilesa, Osun, after a heated argument.
According to report, the boy had a heated argument with his father after he came back from school and he was accused by his father of stealing some empty containers.
The boy reportedly hit his father on the head with broken concrete blocks and the man could not recover from the injury inflicted on him. He was then rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died.
The boy has since been arrested by the police for interrogation.
The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) party is winning in at least 16 local governments area according to unofficial election results tallied by Independent National Election Commission officials.
According to INEC officials, APGA also did well in two other local governments despite the massive irregularities that occurred during the election.
No fewer than 20 election officials in the Anambra governorship poll were attacked in the early hours of Sunday by armed robbery suspects along the Onitsha-Owerri Expressway.
One of the officials who preferred anonymity, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Awka that they were attacked at about 3 a.m. while returning from Ihiala after the election.
