Reports coming out say the former governor of Plateu State and the first PDP chairman Solomon Lar has died. He died today in a London hospital at the age of 90. May his soul rest in peace.

Good evening Sir EDESON, the issue I’m presenting to you now is really disturbing me. I have sent this story to other bloggers and popular forums in Nigeria but I still want you to publish it on your page because any advice I get will be very helpful.

SIR EDESON, It all started the first time I saw a fluffy toy with my sister. Then I would see a love note here, a missed call there. I would see book gifts that had words written on it, all from the same guy. Later, when my sister was having a hard time at work, I used to hear her talking on the phone and from the response, it was obvious the guy was encouraging her. All these pointed to the fact that some chivalrous gentleman was showing some interest in my darling sister.

My sister has not been so lucky in love. She dated a guy who was abusive and really dealt with her, which is really painful as she's the most loving girl any guy can have.

Later, I got to know this new guy from her Facebook. He seemed decent enough. And then later I was utterly shocked to see him working as a security man at a bank.

I feel so disappointed in my sis. Is that the best She can do? Can't she get a decent man with a decent job? Must it be abusive man+ good job or good man+security job? I understand that he is loving. But, there are loving bankers out there, not the bank security guard.

Guys, I just want you to put yourself in my shoes. I can't even process that she's actually thinking of marrying this guy.

I'm surprised at all the castigation. you people should walk in my shoe to know How it pinches.

Nollywood actor, Olukayode Odumosu popularly known as Pa Kasumu is struggling to stay alive at LUTH as he battles heart and liver diseases; “secondary prevention of repeat stroke,” after a previous stroke.
The 60-year old actor says,
“I have spent so much on these diseases. When it was first diagnosed, the doctors said the ailment was severe, that they would need to control its progression for it not to affect my kidneys. This they did, and I was happy they succeeded, but now, other serious ailments have set in, necessitating this battle of survival. I am not tired yet; I still want to continue to make people laugh, but my failing health is a terrible obstacle.”
He wants Nigerians, corporate organisations and the Government to help him stay alive because he can't pay for his treatment which will cost N12m.

According to International Time UTC a solar eclipse will occur on November 3 2013 which will be visible in some parts of the World. It will be visible in some cities in Nigeria e.g. Abuja, Ilorin, Kaduna, Lagos and some other cities mostly in north central and west.
A Solar Eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the sun and the earth, and the moon fully or partially blocks the sun.
