“I'm Grateful My Cancer Is Gone” - Vast Of Bracket tells Journalist.

It was reported that VAST of BRACKET (Nigerian musician) was seriously ill due to cancer but the good news is that the dark handsome singer, VAST is now hale and hearty. His cancer is gone, below is what he told our correspondence.
“I’m grateful the cancer was an early discovery, even though it should have been earlier than when it was discovered. It actually took more than 3 months for Nigerian doctors to discover I had cancer after taking several pain-killers and medicine for headache; we had to fly to London for treatment after it was discovered. We spent a whole lot of money, but we thank God for Life.

My greatest weapon is God and then training. I train a lot even when I was sick. I discovered that it is one of the biggest weapons to fight sickness. One thing about Cancer is once discovered on time, with the right medication, it will be cured forever. I’m healthy now and there is no more trace of cancer in my blood again.”

We really thank God for his life.

…This year marks the 20th anniversary of the infamous June 12…

…June 12 Declared Public Holiday In Oyo, Osun, Ogun & Lagos …

Nobel Laurent, Professor Wole Soyinka, has affirmed that June 12 and not May 29 should be marked as Nigeria’s democracy day.

Speaking at a forum in Lagos over the weekend, Prof Soyinka described the May 29 celebration by federal government as ‘fake’, saying that “June 12 is the real democracy day.”

He also made jest of his ‘grounded plane and helicopter’ ahead of a planned flight to celebrate June 12 abroad.

Nigeria has celebrated the return of civil rule on 29th of May, since 1999 when the newly elected President Olusegun Obasanjo, was sworn in after over 30 years of military rule. The day was tagged, Democracy Day.

June 12 is the date renowned for Nigeria’s most credible, free and fair election in 1993 when late MKO Abiola was elected President.
ALSO,

The Oyo and Osun state governments on Monday declared Wednesday as work free to commemorate the June 12, 1993 Presidential election, cancelled by the military government of the time.

In a statement in Ibadan, Festus Adedayo, the Special Adviser to Oyo State Governor on Media, said the holiday was to mark the 20th anniversary of the election, adjudged the freest and fairest in Nigeria’s political history.

The statement said the holiday was also a recognition of the martyrdom of the late Moshood Abiola, the acclaimed winner of the election.
It said Mr. Abiola ought to be honoured for laying down his life for Nigerians to enjoy democratic governance.
Similarly, the Commissioner for Information in Osun, Sunday Akere, said in a statement in Osogbo that the holiday was to recognise when an election adjudged the freest and fairest in Nigeria was annulled.
Mr. Akere said that June 12 would continue to stand for democracy and good government and as such nothing was too much to honour the day.
Ogun State had on Sunday also declared June 12 a public holiday.
Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, on Monday approved that Wednesday, June 12, 2013, be observed as a work free day in the state in commemoration of June 12, 1993 annulled elections.

This was contained in a circular issued yesterday by the Head of Service, Mr. Adesegun Ogunlewe.

According to the circular, “In commemoration of June 12, 1993 as significant in the actualisation of democracy in Nigeria, it is hereby notified for general information that His Excellency, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, the Governor of Lagos State has approved Wednesday, June 12, 2013 as a work free day.’”

The circular further enjoined all workers in the state to attend events organised by various government agencies and groups to commemorate the day.
GUYS, What does June 12 mean to you?

…HURRAY ! Today is Prophet T.B. Joshua’s 50th Birthday….

‘Celebrate My Birthday With The Poor’

Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, has directed his followers not to shower him with gifts as he clocks 50 today, instead they should spend their money and possessions on the poor who need help the most.
Nigeria’s televangelist, faith healer and founder of Emmanuel Television was born in the small village of Arigidi in Akoko area of Ondo State, southwest Nigeria, on 12 June 1963.
After many low paid jobs in Lagos, southwest Nigeria, including one he loves to remember as a poultry farmer, T.B. Joshua burst into the national scene in the 1990s with his miracles and healings.
“Those things that you have for T.B. Joshua, even what you will spend on a greeting card, put it together and spend it on this commission (the poor),” T.B. Joshua said.
“Be a father to the fatherless. There are many homeless and fatherless orphans. If you can’t bring anyone of them to your house, you must go to them, care for them and give them scholarships,” he said.
He added: “Whatever you have as a gift for the ceremony or the occasion of my 50th birthday, put it together and use it to rededicate yourself to the acts of giving. No matter how small it is.”
The Man In The Synagogue, as TB Joshua is known to followers around the world, said God has directed him to create employment for jobless graduates.
“One of the projects the Lord has given to us at 50 is that we must create jobs for people who are jobless. This is the number one project for my 50th birthday. I am going to pursue it. Graduates everywhere are without a jobs. I asked the Lord to bless me to be in position to help them. This birthday, it will be an assignment for me,” T.B. Joshua said.
Joshua warned that if jobs were not quickly created for the unemployed, the future will be bleak and no one will be able to sleep.
“If you listen to the graduates today, you will be afraid of the future. If something is not done quickly, you will not be able to sleep and close your eyes in the future. Tomorrow will be tough. We have to come together and do something now,” he said.
On 26 May, T.B. Joshua began the assignment of facilitating the provision of jobs to graduates. At least 24 graduates were given employment.
On his birthday, he said God has blessed him beyond his expectations and he would like to give something back to the creator to say thank you.
“To whom much is given, much is expected. At 50, the Lord has given me so much in all areas of my life which I cannot reciprocate. At 50, I should be more grateful to God and show more commitment to His service,” he said.
He told followers that “the best way to celebrate this birthday is to be on your knees and thank God for the life of T.B. Joshua.
“Pray for the Church of God for a strong bond of love. Pray for your nation and the whole world.”

Happy birthday.

“My Husband is a Womanizer, He Does Not Respect Me”

Endy Please Help Me:

“My Husband is a Womanizer, He Does Not Respect Me”

Happy new week Mr. Endy Edeson. I’m glad you are back online after the robbery incident that kept you offline for over 2 weeks. I love the job you are doing. I enjoy all your entertainment news updates.
Mr. Edeson, I’m facing a marital issue, please help me publish it so that your fans and readers can advice me. Please hide my identity because I don’t want anyone to know that I’m the one. Thanks.
I met this my husband in a fast food joint some years back, and while we were dating I never knew him to be into women before we married. We had some hiccups as in the family members including the mum did not like me as such. But we went on to fix date and got knot up. My dear after marriage, a week after, women started calling him, and at one point I decided to hide my number to call one of them, and found out that, he was into women a lot.

So this now became so pronounced that most times, he does not sleep at home, he is a military man though, and he brings women and sleeps with them in the base. His friends knew all of these, and when I confront them because they knew what he is into they will just say they would talk to him.
I have confronted him myself and he told me, if I don’t like it, then I should leave him. He travels a lot because of the nature of his job, so this last time when he came back, he never slept at home for once, he comes back very late, he has been very unfaithful to me, though we have been married for some time now and no kids. I am a believer and I have told God that I will not sin against my body and God.

We have a car that we both use, and I use it during the day while he uses it at night. Now most time when I want to go to the office, I will see some funny things in the car, like a woman’s hair, a lipstick kiss on the chair, condoms and the most recent one that has made me to write this is, just this morning. I saw a woman’s bra hand in the car. My parents are aware of all these, but for some time, he has stopped relating to them about what happens to me.

Majority of his friends are not married, and even the ones that are married are worst than a single fellow.
One thing he does that grips me is the fact that he uses his male friends picture as his dp on bbm instead me or his mum as he's always done.

Myself and his male friend's birthday was just the same day, he chose to make his friend’s birthday unique by even went out with him to make it well for him while my own, he returned home frowning.

What do you think I can do to get out of this mess I am into? I no longer concentrate at work.
I am not happy at all, my pastor has told me not to go that the Lord will make all things beautiful.

The bitter truth is that I don’t know whether he already has children out side.

I am so unhappy…………………………………….. because I have a lot to say but don’t want to bore people with my stale saga.

END OF STORY.

Guys, what is your advice for this lady?

…Students Banned From Wearing Bra & Pants In China's Entrance Exam…

BEIJING: More than nine million students packed exam halls across China for the opening day of the country's university entrance exam on Friday -- with attempts to stop cheating even leading to bans on metal bra clasps.

Students in the northeastern province of Jilin were banned from wearing clothing with metal parts and education authorities installed metal detectors in exam centres to clamp down on "wireless cheating devices", the state-run Global Times reported.

Authorities have become increasingly concerned about the risk of examinees using devices such as smartphones -- some of which have become smaller and easier to hide -- as an illicit aid during tests.

Around 9.12 million high school students were registered across China to sit the crucially important two-day exam, known as the gaokao, an education ministry spokeswoman said.

Officials aimed to crack down on "sales of high-tech gear for cheating, and gaokao-related fraud", the Global Times said.

But users of China's Twitter-like weibos were scornful. "Everyone is paying attention to the bras. What about glasses?" said one.

“The Message I Have For The Nigerian Press Is That They Are Going To Hell”

 ….Majek Fashek tells Journalist

Majek Fashek has been rumored to be sick in the past. As a mater of fact, he was sick. Here is what he said in a recent interview about the Nigerian press, infact Africa as a whole.
Enjoy the Interview:

What message do you have for people; especially those who say you are sick?

Me? I don’t have any message for anybody, the message I have for the Nigerian press is that they are going to hell.

Why? Hell? And do you know you are also including me?

Not you, but for those who always write and give false information about me and for blaspheming the prophet. Me and Jesus Christ, we are one, me I no dey follow Jesus Christ like Christian o, I am following Jesus Christ in a different way and in different form.

So, the Nigerian press that is running against the truth will go to hell, it’s not you I am referring to. Okay, who gave me rain maker? It was the Nigerian press that was good press like you. May God help you in your press profession. It was good people like you then that gave me rain maker in the late 80s and I am sure you must be in secondary school then, abi I lie? They don’t take bribe, it is you that will use your sense to give them envelope, they don’t demand anything from you, and it is you that will give them, not them demanding for it. But the press we have now will always demand for bribe. So, Nigerian press, no don’t let me use Nigerian press, let me say African press, is fed up because of bribery and corruption.

But would you agree with me that you are sick?

Yes, I was sick, anybody can be sick. What I have is spiritual problem which I am dealing with. Even in the Bible, it was stated that we are not fighting against flesh and blood, but wickedness in high places. I am a freedom fighter, I can never be shot like Lucky Dube, I am invincible, you can’t shoot me. I am Anikulapo.

THE END.
