“It’s been bad luck and frustration since I married my wife”

Please I need your advice...

Greetings to you all. Kindly allow me to remain anonymous please. I need your advice asap.
I got married about 4 years ago to a lady i courted for about 2 yrs. since then we’ve not had a child, and it has naturally become a source of worry as my parents have not hidden their concern at all.
Now, as a born again Christian, I believe in totality that children come from God and he alone gives at his time, but I also know that the bible commands us to ask, seek and knock and that he that asks, receives. But my frustration in this whole thing is the wife I married.

Firstly, for strange reasons, ten months after marrying her, I lost my job of 12yrs, and since then I’ve been struggling to make ends meet. I must thank God for his goodness and mercies all the way. At least there has been no reason to beg anyone.
Secondly, she has strangely refused to support any effort I try to make for progress. She sees things differently with no better alternative to bring on the table and each time I go ahead, she wants it to fail. she’s a graduate who has also refused to do anything for flimsy reasons, not liking a business type, lack of interest with her certificate, not even to teach as an educationist. And for these reasons, we have remained almost always at loggerheads.
Thirdly, in an effort to find solution to our childlessness, she has frustrated every bit of the attempts. She has refused us exhausting medical options insisting that the problem is spiritual. And on the spiritual options, she has been half-heartedly involved. My parents invited us for prayers with a man of God, we got there on my insistence at least to honour them and she ended up embarrassing everyone including my parents as she vehemently refused to stay back for prayers as advised by the Man, and even accusing me of ganging up with them!
That was Oct last year. Even if she didn’t believe the man as she claimed, i thought she should have been polite and respectful about it.. Needless to say, my parents have been hurt with her actions since then and wish I can just divorce her. Most frustrating for me is that presently, I’m observing a month long fasting and prayer period. Even though she claims to be fasting and praying too, she has refused to go with me for prayers in Church for once.
Please advice me on what to do as various thoughts keep running through my mind…I am still very young and i think letting a woman who’s mindset is far below my ambitions will be doing harm to my future.

YOUR ADVICE….

Oscar Pistorius Has Been granted bail Today: ... For Allegedly Killing His Girlfriend

--- Oscar Pistorius Has Been granted bail Today:

... For Allegedly Killing His Girlfriend ...

Oscar Pistorius was released from custody after winning the right to avoid imprisonment until his trial for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, a South African court decided on Friday.
A four-day hearing culminated on Friday with shouts of "Yes!" when chief magistrate Desmond Nair announced he was granting the Blade Runner bail. Pistorius, who kept his head bowed when Nair announced his ruling, was ordered to post $1 million South African Rand – $112,771 U.S. dollars – as surety and surrender his passport to prevent him from leaving the country.
Although Pistorius, who claims he mistook Steenkamp for an intruder when he shot her through a bathroom door on Feb. 14, still faces charges of premeditated murder and could receive a life sentence, this outcome after four days of testimony is a major victory for the 26-year-old and his legal team before they are due back in court on June 4.
Among the stipulations of his bail, Pistorius was also ordered to surrender all his firearms, must appear at Brooklyn Police Station (where he had been held) every Monday and Friday, may not enter any airport, cannot talk to any witnesses and is not allowed to drink alcohol.
Nair, who admitted the decision was an"unenviable task," stated he did not believe Pistorius to be a flight risk and that the prosecution did not show he had a propensity for violence. As part of his summation that lasted nearly two hours on Friday, he highlighted several blunders made during the police investigation led by Hilton Botha, who was removed from the case Thursday after it emerged he was himself accused of seven counts of attempted murder. The blunders included:
• A failure to check proper phone records
• A possibility he contaminated crime scene evidence
• A failure to further investigate allegations of prior Pistorius aggression
• Mischaracterization of a substance found at the home
• A failure to seize evidence pertaining to offshore accounts
However, Nair also highlighted several burning questions that Pistorius and his legal team will need to answer once the trial comes around:
• Why didn't he ascertain Steenkamp's whereabouts?
• Why didn't Steenkamp answer back when he allegedly shouted to someone in the toilet?
• Why didn't he verify who was in the toilet before firing?
The international posse of media and a global audience has heard nothing from Pistorius himself, unless you count a written affidavit that was read in court by his lawyer on Wednesday. But the athlete wanted this bail decision desperately, and as Nair handed down his judgment on Friday, it must have meant as much to Pistorius as any of his triumphs on the track, where he became the first double amputee to compete in both the Olympics and the Paralympics.

Pretoria Central Prison, where he would have been remanded if denied bail, is by all accounts a godforsaken place – a dirty, noisy, violent, crowded, dangerous and soul-destroying jail that no one, especially a famous, white, wealthy, amputee superstar wants to spend time at.
Yet even more significantly for Pistorius' potential future liberty is the reality that under South African legal regulations defendants who are bailed are widely considered to have significant advantages come trial time.
"It is hugely preferable for the defense to have the accused out on bail rather than being incarcerated," legal expert Manny Voets told 567 The Cape radio. "If the accused is in prison, you have to schedule appointments to visit, there is limited time and you are in a small room.
"Being out of prison is much easier. He can be seen in chambers and the preparation for defending the case is just much smoother. It is definitely preferable and can be very important in cases."
Pistorius will be relieved to be out of Pretoria Magistrates Court, where he spent four tense days under heavy scrutiny, much of it in floods of tears. While Pistorius could often maintain his composure during the more technical aspects of the legal deliberations, he would generally break down into sobs and gasps whenever assertions from either counsel turned to the actual events of Valentine's Day morning.
His equilibrium was tested fully on Friday morning, as prosecutor Gerrie Nel began his final push for the denial of bail by going firmly on the attack. Nel was adamant that the prosecution would assert Steenkamp had fled to the toilet at Pistorius' luxury residence in the Silver Lakes community either to "escape an argument or a gun."
He also claimed Pistorius may have had his defense – his belief that an intruder had entered the house – prepared before the actual shooting took place.
"I have my gun, I want to shoot her, and when they ask me, I'll say it was an intruder," said Nel, giving his interpretation of what he believed to be the runner's mindset. "As soon as they confront me, I'll say it was a burglar."
Pistorius' sister Aimee and other members of his support looked disgusted at the suggestion, and were similarly unimpressed when Nel insisted he posed a flight risk, highlighting his access to a property in Italy where he has regularly trained during the European track season.
Nel likened the matter to that of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, still holed up in the Ecuadorian embassy in London and avoiding extradition to Sweden where he is facing allegations of sexual assault.
After Nel also issued stout criticism of Pistorius for not personally taking the stand, defense counsel Barry Roux argued for a charge of culpable homicide, a lesser charge than murder, and claimed that any intent to kill an intruder could not be read as intent to kill Steenkamp.
Roux also pounced on the holes in the evidence put forward by the stumbling testimony of Botha. That disastrous second afternoon for the prosecution marked the turning point from which the prosecution could not recover.
The bail ruling opens the possibility that Pistorius could return to athletic training, with his running coach Ampie Loew insisting he would like to see the 400-meter star back in training as early as Monday as a means to shifting his mind onto more positive things than the bloody events of Valentine's Day morning and the fatal shooting of Steenkamp.

--- “I don’t plan to leave Arsenal any time soon” ---

... Wenger tells Journalists.

Arsene Wenger has insisted that he will not resign as manager of Arsenal, despite facing arguably the biggest crisis of his 16-year reign in charge of the North London club.

The Frenchman’s current contract runs out in 2014 and several sections of the club’s fanbase, have called for him to walk away from his positionn recently.

Blackburn dumped Wenger and his men out of the FA Cup and they face an uphill task in qualifying for the next round of the Champions League, after a humbling 3-1 defeat at home to Bayern Munich, but Wenger has stated he will not step down any time soon.

“Never, not for one second,” he replied, when he was asked about the possibility of resigning. “The love for the game and the love to win (keeps me motivated).

“I will not come out with my feelings (on negative publicity of the last week). What is important for me is to focus on the next game and try to give my best, like all the players.

“My spark has nothing to do with the length of your life. It is just how you are. You are motivated by how much you want to win and how much you want to be a winner. If I go out against you now in a one-on-one, you will see that I will beat you. At least if I don’t, I will want to beat you. That will be the same so long as I can move.”

However, the 63-year-old hinted that he might consider his future in the coming year.

“I have a contract until 2014 and at the moment I am on a short term plan,” he stated. “For two reasons. One I have been here for a long time and two, I have to consider what I want to do. That will be considered in 2014.”

Denrele EDUN May Be Arrested Over GOLDIE's DEATH

--- Denrele EDUN May Be Arrested Over GOLDIE's DEATH ---

-- Goldie Harvey died in Denrele’s arms --

(Curled from ENTERTAINMENT EXPRESS NEWSPAPERS)
The last good glimpse Nigerians had of Goldie was of her photos on the red carpet of the 55th Grammy Awards, where she appeared as a woman full of life. Her death four days later on Valentine’s Day was one hell of a shock for her fans, friends and family. Her demise evoked a volcano of mixed feeling as many haters took to the social media to further hex the soul of the deceased. In the wake of the Valentine’s Day tragedy, damning reports began to emerge: drugs, hedonism, a little-known marriage, and husband-snatching allegations. Click to continue reading.

Goldie’s untimely death stirred a storm of controversies that cannot simply be wished away. The big question revolves around her marriage. Before her death, if you’d ask showbiz followers about Goldie’s marital status, two out of three responses would be “single.”

The remaining would be “no idea.” It hardly occurred to anyone outside her close circle that the Harvey surname she was bearing was not a stage but her marriage name. Indeed, the Skibobo singer created a cloud of deceit around her marital status. During press conferences, questions about her marital status were curtly cut off. On Facebook, Goldie’s marital status was inconclusive. “Single” but not searching and an occasional vague affirmation that she was “in a relationship,” was all Goldie offered as explanation for her marital status.

Many did not know Goldie wedded let alone, married a white man. Now a certain Andrew Harvey, a Briton, has announced himself, by uploading photos of their wedding that proved beyond doubt the verity of their 2005 wedding. So Goldie was married? Really?

At the BBA Stargame, Goldie was viewed through the lens of a single girl. Against this new background, you begin to wonder, what the hell was a 30-year-old woman with a seven-year-old marriage doing in the wild, whimsical house of the Big Brother Africa, where sex can happen at a short notice? Then you begin to wonder, where was Mr. Andrew Harvey when Goldie was gallivanting with Prezzo? A married Goldie flirted and got cosy with Prezzo, going as far as kissing him. For a married woman, that was so un-African.

Even outside the BBA, her love chess with Prezzo continued. There were strong indications that at the time of her death, the Nigerian pop diva and the Kenyan rapper were still love interests. One doesn’t have to be a Sherlock Holmes to deduce that the marriage was not the made-in-heaven picture Mr. Harvey is now painting. Now Harvey is not making Goldie a saint as much as he is further casting aspersion on her image as a married wife.

Toxic reports in the wake of her shocking departure insinuated that Goldie’s was into drugs. These allegation, debunked by close pals, are just mere conjectures. What is common knowledge was that her friendship with Denrele Edun, the eccentric Channel O presenter, who also happened to be her business partner and co-presenter of their impending reality show, was not ordinary.

Now talking about Denrele, the initial story was that Goldie died in Denrele’s arms. The question is: where, in the house, or on the way to the hospital, because the hospital declared the singer dead on arrival. There had been different accounts about Goldie’s last minutes. The stories, sketchy but riddled with inconsistencies. So who is going to give us a blow-by-blow account of the last minute, including the names of people who were there? One report said her brother was in the house with her. When Entertainment Express visited her apartment at No 30B Ologun Kufere Street Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos, the following day, the apartment was deserted save for a weeping househelp who went in, packed her two suitcases and fled from the house.

Then you ask again a whole lot of questions: What is the police doing about it? Where are her family members?

The autopsy report indicated that Goldie died of hypertension. But the public needs to know the back story, particularly, the details of the last few minutes before her death. What, where, when, how, and who were the eye-witnesses?

Questions, questions, questions. It is better to let the dead to rest in peace. And in this clime, we do not speak ill of the dead. But this has to be said about the late entertainer: Goldie lied to us. It is no crime for a celebrity to keep her marital life out of the public radar - Onyeka Onwenu did it successfully. A stern I-am-married-but-my-marriage-is-not-a-matter-for-discussion response from Goldie would have been enough. Goldie misinformed us by her utterance, she misled us by her actions. She owed us an apology, even in death.

An insider, who spoke with us recently, said the family of Goldie wants the Police to invite Denrele, for questioning, since he claimed that their hale and hearty daughter died in his arms. “This I can tell you is the family’s position’s. They want Denrele to tell them and the world the circumstances that led to Goldie’s death”, disclosed this insider who does not want his name in print.
