Lawmaker hails INEC for de-registering 28 parties

INEC DE-registers 28 Political Parties in Nigeria

Fresh Democratic Party founded by Pastor Chris Okotie, was among the 28 political parties struck off the register by Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Thursday.INEC said that the action was in exercise of its powers based on the I999 Constitution as amended and the Electoral Act 2010 as amended.
