She further affirmed to our Reporter that the singles have been slated for online release from Wednesday, October 17.

PURE WATER is now sold for 5 NAIRA instead of 10 Naira::

Edeson Online News just confirmed that a Sachet of Water (also known as PURE WATER) is now sold for N5 naira in some parts of Lagos State and Ogun State. Edeson NEWS correspondent who spoke with a ‘PURE WATER’ seller earlier today learnt that a bag of Pure Water is now sold for 60 naira instead of 80 naira. The Pure water seller who does not want his name to be mentioned said the price of PURE WATER reduced since last week.

A daily consumer of PURE WATER who simply identified himself as Akande told EDESON NEWS that its a step in the right direction as Nigerians have endured high price of PURE WATER for over 2 years.

An eye witness told journalists that the Chinese worker, a cook, was killed by some unknown gunmen who stormed the livestock section of the market where he had gone to buy a lamb in the company of two local staff. The eye witness added that the ugly incident happened yesterday evening.

Plain Crash in SUDAN: 13 Military Personel Killed in Sudan Plane Crash

13 passengers aboard a Sudanese military plane have died after the plane crashed west of Omdurman city.

The plane Antonov 12 is said to have been on a mission from Khartoum to el Fasher and was carrying 16 people; there were also 6 crew members. They crashed in Al-Sawarmy Khalid Saad, the Sudanese military spokesman said the plane crashed east of Khartoum and all members aboard were military personnel.

The nine survivors were severely injured and were rushed to hospital to get immediate help. 

Hugo Chavez Has Emerged Winner of Venezuela Re-election

Hugo Chavez won Venezuela election  on Sunday.Venezuela’s socialist President Hugo Chavez won Venezuela re-election with 54.42 per cent of the vote. At around 10.00 p.m. Sunday local time (0230 GMT Monday), the National Election Council announced Chavez carried 54.42 percent of the vote, compared with 44.47 percent for rival Henrique Capriles.

Capriles, representing the Democratic Unity Roundtable coalition, accepted defeat as soon as the result was announced, and said he hoped that Chavez would be a good president.

“For me, the will of the people is sacred,” Capriles told reporters at his campaign headquarters.”And I would like to thank the more than six million Venezuelans who placed their trust in me.”

Three Nigerian Pilgrims Have Died in Saudi Arabia

Edeson ONLINE News has confirmed that three Nigerian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia have died. The Head of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria Medina Mission Dr Bello Tambawwal made the disclosure in an interview in Medina, saying the pilgrims were from Kebbi, Kano and Katsina states. He said the first was a pilgrim from Kano State, who died aboard the plane conveying him and others in the inaugural flight to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He said the others died in Medina from illnesses but added that ”both of them were in their ripe age at the time of their death.”
