Osama Bin Laden movie to be released in America on November 2, 2012 ahead of election

A big-name Hollywood fundraiser for Barack Obama is releasing the first feature film about the raid that killed Osama bin Laden two days before the US presidential election. “SEAL Team Six: The Raid on Osama bin Laden” is distributed by Harvey Weinstein, the respected movie mogul who hosted the president at a celebrity-studded fundraising event in New England last month. In a press release, the National Geographic Channel said it would premiere “SEAL Team Six” on November 4 after its president Howard Owens and Weinstein discussed “the insight the film is sure to evoke in all Americans.”

The Lagos State Government has said it would no longer allow the use of vehicles with number plates from other states of the federation for commercial transportation in the state. It also advised residents with private vehicles to change to the state’s number plates to reflect the fact that they are living in Lagos. The Director, Vehicle Inspection Office, Mr, Gbolahan Toriola, said the measure was meant to achieve “sanity, standard, safety and security” as stipulated by the road traffic law.

French beekeepers in Ribeauville are stuck with their autumn honey harvest; the honey is strangely blue and sort of green,

The beekeepers believe the reason their honey has turned blue is because of a biogas plant close to Ribeauville in Alsace. It is thought the bees have been eating the sugary waste from M&Ms, small chocolates in brightly-coloured shells.

A spokeswoman for the British Beekeepers’ Association, Gill Maclean, said it was possible that the coloured sugar could have contaminated the honey and turned it blue.

The plant operator said it regretted the situation and had put in place a procedure to stop it happening

1 million fake phones have been switched of in Kenya.By switching off the fake phones,Communications Commissions of Kenya (CCK) will be in compliance with the Kenya Information and Communications Regulations 2012, which requires all mobile phones to be approved.

One million fake mobile handsets had been switched off on Monday when the exercise begun.
